Today has been different. Spent it in a&e. Pain in ribs is caused by blood clots apparently. Injections for the next 5 days. At least it gets me out of doing the ironing.

Thank you for your reply. I've joined the lung cancer group. I have lung cancer that has spread to my ribs and lymph nodes. I was diagnosed in December. The growth on my lung is called Nora. And we are keeping her in control with Afatinib which I take daily. The are many side effects which are all treat able . These aren't as severe as regular chemo.
