Day 3 of treatment . Feeling a bit more positive today. Went to cash and carry with a friend. Lovely sunny afternoon. Made sausage casserole for dinner. Rib cage hurting. Calling my blogs Nora because when I was first diagnosed I was going to call the growth on my lung noma ,short for carcenoma, but somehow it came out as Nora. So Nora the lodger in my chest was christened. 

Today is the second day of taking afatinib. I thought I would be feeling happier once I had actually started treatment but am feeling very low. So many things to avoid in my diet . What do others drink apart from decaf coffee and water. All soft drinks seem to have sweetener and citric acid.
