So it’s now week 13 since I had whipple surgery and everything is going ok. The reason for this was ampulla cancer which they successfully removed, however i’ On my third week of chemotherapy (as a precaution). The first week apart from feeling a little sick I felt ok, but it’s taken me a lot longer to feel better after the 2nd time. Is this normal? Am I going to feel worse each week? Most of the time physically and emotionally I feel ok but other days I feel really low? I know I should feel lucky that surgery was successful and most of the time I do, but I still feel like the rug has been pulled from under me. Advice appreciated!
