Optima trial

Signed up for Optima trial today.  Also given date for chemotherapy to start on 5 February in case I am in the control group or the Prosigna test indicates high risk.  I will have radiotherapy and hormone treatment as well.  I should know by 29 January whether I definitely having chemo or not.

    Hi  Canterbur, 

    i have a call tomorrow to discuss the trial? I figure I’ve nothing too lose. My benefits for having chemo are low 1.6% over 5 years and 4 percent over 10 years.....both negated with the risks of chemo at 3%! I’m hopimy the test gives me an indication but who knows! X x Good luck x x
