Day 2 after chemo

Less than one minute read time.

Thankfully, the nausea eased off today. Only one more day on the constant anti-nausea meds, then the schedule slows down.

I had focused so much of my life on family, community volunteer, and career--which all flows into one--that I am enjoying watching tv.  I like history, which is something I had been too busy making to have time to learn, it seemed.

So, Strange Inheritance, History Channel, Ancestry.com are favorites.

My thoughts are that variety keeps me moving. I would like to go to Jupiter, FL. The beach is beautiful there and where my writing started.

My writing blog is sharonhaganblog.wordpress.com.

I have too many hobbies for a 74 year old cancer patient. I am a member of Ancestry and a local genealogy group, wanting to write family history and inspirational books. I want to watercolor, exercise, ....the list goes on, and I mostly need to stick CLOSE to my current undertakings, FOCUSING.

Must be Day 10 or something. I just take each situation as it comes and work through it, keep my caregiver husband engaged, move aside distractions like house cleaning.  Have not been out since nadir started 6 days ago. Flu season is rampant. It is very cold.

Each hurdle I try to learn from and also to consider a momentary light affliction God helps me to overcome.  So I am not alone.  I do have paperwork for a couple of grants that I trust I can get my husband to fill out.

The expenses of the treatment is such that we would need to have for Lymphoma treatment 6 times our income to NOT be considered poverty level. I know we will need to pay, but I am relieved there is help and Dr. DAVIDSON'S OFFICE HAS A MIRACLE WORKER.

Nice sunshine out today which I appreciate.
