First round chemo started on Tuesday 12th Dec. Saline overnight and then the Cesplatin and Pemetrexed intravenously on the Wednesday. At first no real changes. Thursday afternoon the queasiness started. Suggested trying our cruise bands we use when the sea is rough. They seem to have done the trick. It's now day 3 and although there has been fatigue (but that was there before) the sickness has been kept at bay. So with the tabs and the bands he's doing quite well. Appetite is good I have chopped up melon and pear in the fridge for him to get when he fancies and different dry biscuits. Cans of shandy (fizz helped my morning sickness). Reduced portion size so he's not over faced. He says he feels "strange" but at least he's eating and not sick. Hope I'm doing the right thing !!!
