Oh well, it is confirmed. I have Stage 3 breast cancer, in the blood and lymph nodes too but not graded yet, full body CT scan in couple of weeks, but definitely a primary, which is a good thing. I start chemo in a few weeks, every 3 weeks for 6 months, Herceptin, then surgery, (they are hoping it will shrink enough for a lumpectomy, as opposed to a full mastectomy), followed by radiotherapy and poss more chemo. All in all around 12 months of s**t!!! This forum really helped me to prepare though, the experiences and support, the information and the opportunity to just talk to others who have steered the same boat. This is one of my greatest finds and will be my 'go to' when I need it. One thing I can promise is that when all this is over and the fight is won, I will stay to help others, as others have helped me. The next few months will be hard, but then so am I; bring it on!!!
