Hi, my husband has recently been diagnosed with grade 3/T1 bladder cancer with micropapillary variant and is having radical cystectomy on the 22nd August. We have had a lot to take in these past few weeks and my husband has now to decide before the 2nd August wether he would prefer reconstruction of the bladder/neobladder which we were told involves months of bladder training or having a stoma. Does anyone have any experience of either?-I'm just trying to get as much information on either to help my husband make an informed decision (he has asked me to on his behalf)-many thanks,Helen.
