I am about to start radiotherapy, having just completed 6 rounds of chemo for prostate cancer during which I found acupuncture very helpful in managing fatigue. I would like to continue with the acupuncture while I undergo RT, but am curious to know if there any concerns apart from the obvious one of the importance of avoiding needles in the vicinity of the treatment site — the pelvis, in my case?
