was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 12mths ago and after completing 3mths chemo followed by extensive Debulking surgery (8hrs), then another 3 months chemo, ca 135 figure dropped from 1800 down to single digits.
I do not have Barca 1 or 2 but HDR Tumour tested positive.
Was put on Parp inhibitors (Rubraca), now on third math.
Problem. CA 125 figure one up to 81. Oncologist says not to worry as could be kidney/liver response to tablets
I am extremely worried as all previous bloods re varian cancer seemed to rely on these numbers.
Having another CT scan in three wks time. I have an issue with CT scans as last one in Dec showed no cancer but when they carried out surgery body was riddled with it.
Q1. Anyone else on Parp inhibitor Rubraca for Ovarian Cancer?
Q2. What comes next if Rubraca not effective?
