Well Chemo day went well, it took 9 hours but one thing you do get used to with this condition is the waiting!
I was well though and even managed to go to a quiet place for a pizza the following day, washed down with lime and soda of course due to my temporary and enforced teetolitarianism.
Unfortunately shortly after the pizza (a fungi if you are wondering!)my temperature spiked and I had to be admitted to the hospital.
I've got my own room of course (it's not all bad news having a transplant) but now I'm feeling better it's so boring. To make matters worse I'm not allowed a wet shave and my electric razor has broken so I look like Robinson Crusoe's scruffy older brother !
I'm hoping things don't get worse when my neutrophils hit the bottom but I'll keep you posted.
