So from my GP requesting an ultrasound scan of my neck to investigate the lump and me physically being laid on the bed receiving it only took 2 weeks. I laid listening to the radiographer telling me I had lumps on my other side of my neck too and how she was going to type up my notes that very day so if I wanted to visit my GP the following day they would be there waiting. I knew this was serious because all the scans I've had over the years I've been told 'it'll take 10 working days'. My scan was at 13:15pm and by 15:30 my GP office were phoning me and requesting I go in. Panic was setting in now.
