Moving Goalposts

Less than one minute read time.

I had an awful day today with a few sorry tears. I feel so sad for my husband when he's sitting watching me cry, I mean, what can he say or do? I was in pain from the clearance - sore, stiff and burning - and I also felt full of doom and gloom about the now, the next and the future.

I'm praying that there are no more positive lymph nodes and trying my hardest to be positive, but sometimes it is the hardest thing.

Sorry for being miserable xx

Sorry you feel so awful, I'm supporting my husband who has two types of cancer, we cry together, we laugh together, I cry more in secret than he knows.Try to talk to him, this is a horrible place we're in but somehow you need to reach out to him cos I'm sure he's feeling as lonely as you.Take care

Sorry to hear your news Saffie - I hope that there are trials available to your husband and that you make use of all of the support that's out there. I'm generally positive about the future - until I hear otherwise, I feel I have to be really.

Sending you a big cyber (((hug)))
