Mouth wash advice

Hi inhave started my first round of chemo Tuesday.Feeling ok so far.But in the hospital Inhave forgot to aske to get a mouth wash because I am really scared about this mouth ulcers.I have bought a mouth wash for kids but its already was burning my mouth.I dont have any mouth ulcers just brushingy teath with soft brush after each meal.Can you somebody advice me what mouthwash I can get and what pharmacy?I went to Boots and they were useless.Or its enough just keep my mouth moisture and brush it often.thank you

Hi

Depends on the treatment you are on I didn't have mouth problems although it was listed as a side effect. The only thing I have found is I lose my sense of taste.

I have checked in regularly with my GP who has been amazing at prescribing appropriate help. You should be getting free prescriptions so I wouldn't go buying stuff in case it's the wrong thing.
