Hello, I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in June 2016. Following a PET scan I now know that the cancer has spread to my lungs and is incurable. I am 54 years old and since my diagnoses my adult children have been amazing and have been looking after me, as I am divorced. To thank them I booked a holiday to take them to New York in April 2017. I rang a number of cancer specialist insurers today to book travel insurance but as my prognosis is "terminal" they all turned down covering me. I had a PET scan in January 2017 and I was delighted to hear that the cancer has not grown much and my life expectancy has increased to 18 months. Can anyone recommend an insurer? Many thanks Patricia
