Probably shouldn't worry

Less than one minute read time.

Hi

Probably shouldn't worry but I found a pea size lump in my arm muscle 4 weeks ago.  GP said shouldn't be cancer (wrong place/shape/feel) but with my history of cancer to go back after 3 weeks & see if it's grown - it hadn't.  I seem to have felt it so many times I'm surprised there's no bruise.  Anyway the gynaecologist saw me for a routine checkup yesterday and said could just wait & see - but he coudn't see it being cancer.  If it was worrying me they could take it out & I'd just have a sore arm for a few days.  I said "Yes please" - am I a glutton for punishment or what?

So this Friday I should have a sore arm.

    Morning Deb,

I don't think you are a glutton for punishment, I am sure there are heaps of us on here would torture ourselves over finding any type of lump after having cancer.

I would opt to "get it out" too.

    Good luck,

    Debs xx

    Hi

Yes I would do exactly as you did - even thbough I have a fear of needles hospitals etc etc.....

you just want it to be out of the way so you don't have to worry about it all the time.

Good luck with the sore arm!
