Had apt for 3.45pm today, at 5.15pm nurse said you can see doctor, who then asked how 'scan went' as she couldn't find results, guess what I hadn't had it, radiology thought I had to see doctor first, so they put me at the end of the queue, never mind, took back to radiology, had CT scan, marked up ready for radiotherapy, but not starting until 1st may, so got home 6.30 pm, so good news is, I might try and book a quick holiday. My little grandson asked me when I got home why did I not collect him from nursery was it because I was getting my new booby, and where have I put it, you left it in the car nana, he then came in the bath with me and said, nana, you shouldn't write on your body, its naughty, and tried to wipe off the markings, he is so funny, as well as gorgeous.
Your grandson sounds like a real cutie! What a pain having so much waiting at the hospital - left hand obviously not knowing what the right hand is doing? Have a nice break.
go on holiday,no matter where, go and enjoy yourself, im off on mine on the first of may and seeing the oncoligist the day after i get back, dont the little ones make everything have a funny side, glad you ended a rotten day with a laugh, good luck viv, liz xxx
