Well ive now finished my radiotherapy, thank goodness, ive been given steriod cream for my skin as its very dry and itchy and starting to break, so now its a waiting game to see when i have to return to see the oncologist then the breast surgeon, apaarently it could be in about six weeks time, which seems forever away, I would just like to know the next step, silly really, the last couple of months have been a rollercoaster and now the opportunity is hear to have a break I just need to know if they are taking the other breast off and when. I wonder how everyone else copes with the hot weather and wearing their prosthesis, I cant at the minute due to my wound being sore, but is it best just to go without when on holiday and just say to hell with it. Built in central heating system (hot flushes) and sticky prosthesis seems like a bad combination, what a dilema!!!!!!!!!!
