a bit down today

1 minute read time.
Feeling really down today, very tired, my sister is going for CT scan on monday to see if her breast cancer has returned, but yesterday she was told her husband has a tumour on his bladder, he is to have surgery then chemo, he is alo going for a scan on monday and I'm seeing the oncologist on monday to discuss radiotherapy.I spent a couple of hours with her yesterday as she is really upset, (she had breast cancer a twice in the past and unfortunately it effected her mental health), it just goes through you're mind 'what next', I also seen my GP yesterday, my stomach is swollen on the same side as my mastectomy and he said it may be related to my cancer, sods law or what. On the plus side..... the local paper are going to do a story on the race for life, there are 20 of my family going to do it for breast cancer, and they think its a good story for raising awareness, as my cancer was picked up due to early testing due to my family history, even my mum is doing it, she's 84 yr old and my other sister is going to push her in the wheelchair. I just thought I was beginning to feel a lot brighter after my surgery and now had more bad news, but 'onwards and upwards' as they say, tomorrow is another day. Guess monday is 'C' day for the 3 of us, fingers crossed it's not more bad news.

What a terrible time for you all for worry.  My prayers are with you all.  And if you are having a swollen stomach, ask for a cat scan of your abdomen.  Don't let any symptom go unexamined.  A great tight hug for you.
