Hi Viv, I'm not sure if this will get to you. I recently had a mastectomy with a muscle tissue expander inserted. I will have a silicone implant placed after my chemo is finished in approximately 4 months. I did not want the bigger surgery which involved a tummy tuck at the same time as mastectomy. Too long of an operation, and too long of a recovery (8-12 weeks!) I have to go back to work sometime!
