Hi all , had first radiotherapy this afternoon that was fun getting on and off bed with severe low back pain.Had a side effect no-one told me about have started a period but not had one of those for best part of 8 yrs. Previous to breast cancer was having depo injection and they stopped completely not had one since, stopped depo just before diagnosis. This is not something anyone said could happen so at moment not a happy…

got secondary breast cancer on sacrum diagnosed last week after months of worst pain in my back ever and had to walk with crutches since xmas, kept telling me a slipped disc. only did mri start of feb.

dr says surgery not an option but not why so radiotherapy starts mon for 5 days. hoping someone out there had similar and can give me some encouraging news.
