    Hi veekay,

snap! mine returned last january, gp thought i had slipped disc, onc wanted an mri, but i think i was in denial. so i hobbled around and saw a chiropractor (who on reflection could have broken my back and hips), I was in so much pain i bebbed my onc for an mri and the rest is history. i have it in spine, ribs, liver and odd ones here and there on bones, i had a huge blast of radiotherapy and was started on xeloda, chemo tabs. The radiotherapy did the trick and after a while i could walk and even dance again. The chemo also had a great effect and they cannot see the tumours on my liver, still there but receeded. Eventually that chemo 'ran out of steam' so i had another which unfortunately didn't work so my back was painful again and i've just had another blast of radiotherapy and on new intravenous chemo.

So i'm keeping it all crossed that this will keep it all at bay. everyone says i look so well, i will continue to fight it.

Take each day as it comes and if you need to chat email me, as i'm an old hand at this now,

Good luck and hugs Jenny x
