Hello, I need help in understanding the side effects of radiotherapy given to a person who has had cancer in their neck. I am a carer, my husband has cancer in one of the lymph node at the base of the neck on the left side.
He was first diagonised with cancer in April 2007, at that time it was found in lymph nodes in the chest and was treated with chemotherrapy and radiotherapy. He recovered well after the first treatment, but his cancer returned this April.
Since July he has had extensive course of chemotherapy and the node has shrunk, but he still has to have radiotherapy and chemotherapy at the beginning of January 2010.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
