Gaming on PC

Less than one minute read time.

Considering I had a fit, is it safe to re-enter the world of shooters on the PC? I have been a little scared to try it up, but have recentenly load a few games back onto my PC in anticipation, but have not plucked up courage to try. I'm talking serious shooter stuff, any one else out there using gameing to escape?

Hi Mitch :) I am new to this site and have been reading various posts, I noticed you are in Southampton in one and that you go to a support group. My son is a couple of months behind you with the fits and diagnosis, he had his first in March and 2nd with scan end of April. He is also under Mr Grundy and after reading your blog has very similar symptoms etc although they are not doing anything to treat him at the moment just controlling the fits. He has his 3 month after the biopsy scan tomorrow at 8.30pm? bit late but there seems to be a lot of it about :( so I guess they are doing extra shifts. Would you mind giving me some more info about the support group, thankyou.

Back to your Post my son is an avid gamer and is eagerly awaiting Final Fantasy 14 in the mean time he plays them a lot, I mean a lot! and has had no problems with seizures as a result. The only time he had one near his computer was when he did a wii fit thing, I think it would be wise to start playing in a comfy chair where if you did have a seizure you would not hurt yourself though and see how it goes but it sounds like yours are mostly controlled and you can feel the partial seizures coming on so I would just get on there and shoot some baddies :)

    Best Wishes Lyndsey
