Got my mastectomy tissue results for my DCIS, which there was supposedly no rush to carry out as it was a pre cancerous condition that would not change anytime soon, results from tissue state different, I really feel let down, they found. 6 cm cancerous tumor and yes it has been removed but I now face chemo and radio therapy which I have to start this week, I was told get a mastectomy and i would not need to worry after that, so I am now recovering (3 weeks in) from a mastectomy now am facing chemo this week, feeling emotional.
