My mum and Dad were like this originally too, they were still trying to protect us. Tell your mom you need to know what is happening so that you can help and understand. That you are not a child anymore and you do not need shielding from the truth. I know its easily said chick but you can see where she is coming from i would do anything to protect my kids if it was me, but its not always for the best!!
