... from the rooftops! Last night Andrew tried cream of tomato soup -
his tube was clamped and this was a test to see how well he tolerated
it. Great success, so this morning the NG tube was removed from his stomach and he
tucked into a bowl of oatmeal, topped with brown sugar and full fat
milk. We did a couple of walks around the quadrangle and now he's
studying the menu for lunch - his appetite is definitely back and it
was with great reluctance that he ordered the omelet (he's longing for
something a bit spicy....)
I can't tell you how overjoyed we are - the catheter comes out tomorrow
morning and we are on target for an afternoon discharge. YEH YEH YEH
