Second Scan Results...... End of Chemo no. 6

1 minute read time.
Just an update on Paul - for the Blog!! - Paul had his second lot of scans since starting the chemo - and the Professor has told him there is a further 40% reduction on his liver tumours - and is very very happy with him - he said he would submit the results for the surgeons to look over but he still didn't think they would want to operate yet... he still has an official 5 more chemos to go so I am thinking they will wait to see if the chemo can reduce them and hopefully get rid of a few before they attack the liver with a knife!! So he was very happy with all that - and it has pepped him up a fair bit - just makes all the chemo horrors that he has had to endure worth it - he asked how the cancer on the bowel would be going and the professor told him that if the chemo was doing its job on the liver it would be working on the bowel cancer as well - but to find out they would need to do a colonoscopy which wasn't on the agenda as yet - so happy us!!!!
