Hi there - just a short blog tonite - Sunday and had a very busy weekend - Paul is very tired and frustrated with just not being well - he ended up staying overnite in hospital where they gave him insulin to get his bloody sugar levels down - I collected him with the kids Friday nite - he seems to be very agitated towards the kids - as soon as he got into the car he told them to be quiet - but I am trying to understand that he is frustrated and have told the kids to try and understand too - his sugar levels came down but have now come up again and he has had no sugar foods whatsoever - he is also complaining of bad pains in his lower abdo. - he is convinced it is the cancer eating away at him - I try to be positive for him but it is very hard as he has his mind set on it - it is always good when he sees people outside of the house as it puts him "back in the real world again" - and takes his thoughts away from the cancer - he goes to his GP tomorrow and I am hoping she will put him on a higher diabetes medication - as I am sure the diabetes is not helping his fatigue.
We had a lovely weekend - watched both boys footy games yesterday and then also today Paul went to Jacks and I went to Billys as they were on at the same time -
Fire on now in the house and Paul is watching his beloved golf - boys Harry Potter and me on the way to bed I think - work tomorrow and then the start of Session 2 of Chemo on Tuesday at 10.00am -

and frustrated, i often snap at my husband and kids and i have a good prognosis, just can't seem to help myself sometimes, its still so hard to put what has happened into any sort of reasonable context, sure Paul feels a bit like that too xxxxxxx hope the gp gets the blood sugar sorted, thats like a double whammy i should imagine.
Yes I can understand the frustrations we all go through - he has just been to GP about things = I am at work - so will give him a call shortly to see how it all went - thanks so much for replyingxxxx
