hi everyone, just wanted to sing the praises of these marvolous injections that i have recieved after this third cycle of chemo . what a difference . its day eight & no shakes YES its so good . apart from the problem with my mouth & fatigue i feel well nearly normal this time . i would recomend these injections to anyone who is suffering the lows of low white cell count . the neupgen injection is a god send . my mouth is also much better this morning so hopefully i am on the up again so i can deal with everything else . my daughter is now back speaking to me she has said sorry so i will leave it there [untill cycle four] hope not only joking . hope evey one is well love n hugs treeeze xxxx

I'm glad you are feeling so much better. Sometimes one's nearest and dearest can be difficult. My husband once took my dog for a walk just as I was finishing getting ready. He's never apologised. Said it was because I was ignoring him and doing too much.
We have to get over these things as best we can. If it is one day at a time, each new day means forgiveness of each other.
I'm so glad that the injections are working. Obviously our physical condition makes a great deal of difference to how we are able to cope emotionally with family difficulties - so I'm glad you're now feeling happier about that part as well. Nevertheless I hope that your daughter will realise that you might need the odd bit of help again come the next chemo.
As she is on the laptop so much, can anyone recommend a website she can look at aimed at teenagers with cancer in the family? It might make her understand what is involved, and also see examples of the sort of things that other relatively young people have done to help their Mums?
