What a wonderful present Treeze. I'm not surprised the tears flowed, I would have reacted in exactly the same way.

Aw Theresa - wasn't that a wonderful thing! And such a good idea for anyone else thinking of something special to give - A PILLOWCASE OF MEMORIES! I have little memory boxes that Mick bought for me years ago, and each time we went anywhere, be it a dance, cinema, show  or on a day out somewhere, I kept all the little trivial things; like tickets, or a picture taken on that day etc. Loads of times over the past year, I've had the box contents spread all over the bed, and the memories of all those wonderful times we shared, look up at me. Well done to your girls for being so CLEVER as to think of it, and what joy it must have given you.   Love, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx kate

What a lovely and personal present:  memories are so precious.  I collect (or used to) vintage photos, and love looking at what people wore, seeking clues as to what sort of people they were, where they lived and what happened to them.  I never found them in a pillowcase before!  Full marks for original presentation!  xxx Penny
