The one thing that I learnt during the last year about my treatment for advanced localised prostrate cancer is that it is a waiting game and the treatment timescales are much longer than I ever expected
My illness was diagnosed in March 2008 and I will not know whether the radiotherapy treatment that I had at the start of 2009 has been sucessfull or not till to November 2009 plus I am on hormone therapy for the next three years.
So it goes on and on and it is part of my life now
