today my hair started to fallout so i got my daughter to cut my hair short not quite sure how i feel .whats it like to go outside with no hair

I had my hair cut yesterday from a chin length bob to 1 inch all over!! thought rather that than clumps of hair falling out!! It feels cold but liberating, took me exactly 30 seconds to wash/dry my head today, so fab!!!! am starting 1st of 3 fec on fri followed after by 3 tax! Also people in the street who don't know you will think you look trendy :)
Be confident and remember you are still the same person inside. I had my last chemo on September 27th and my hair started to grow again 4 weeks later.
I have got so used to my wig that I feel naked without it - a bit like a security blanket. My hair is now about 2" long, and although I look a bit like a boy, it feels ok.
Good luck with your treatment and hope you don't have too many side effects.
it is scary and weird at first and you feel a bit self consious... but i sewed a cut up wig into a baseball cap... and to be honest i ended up going "g.i. jane most of the time ... unless it was too sunny or cold....
I lost my waist length hair and was bald for a year.....there are great wigs, scarfs and hats around and believe it or not love, most people don't even look twice at bald people. Get that cancer gone love and that hair will grow back better than it was before......love Carol x
