It is the start of another week
Chemo is the one thing I seek
I only hope my heart stays strong
Right can now replace the wrong
After months of indecision
Finally, there’s a good decision
To stop the cancer growing tall
Pouring poison to forestall
With luck the pains will go away
Routine cycles here to stay
I will hop back upon the bus
And stop making such a fuss
