Post 57: Oops I did it again…
Just a quick note to say that the SDEC assessment was good and the chemo can be resumed on Friday.
But…
After we left SDEC we headed for a nearby costal town to meet up with a mate and commission a bit of metalworker fabrication, but before I got in the car I started having palpitations.
Long story short, it’s 3am and I’ve been admitted to CCU for observations from A&E. The AFib is now past its 14th hour; even with a good try at getting back to sinus earlier.
This overnight stay will surely usher in a new plan from cardiology to deal with my new uncontrollable AFib but also likely to scare the oncology department into cancelling my chemo tomorrow.
Damn and blast it.
Good night, sleep well.
