Post 387: A life I’m not tasting.
(By Mr U)
Why am I tired I’ve been dozing all day
My heads so confused but still feels okay
I’ve not been myself but the bed is my friend
I’ve wanted this emptiness to come to an end
I’ve watched the tv but keep winding back
I wake up in time for the screen to be black
Stand up to cancer a handshake the prize
It’s all a big bake off and lovely surprise
But back in my bed the day is receding
My eyes are now sore from all of the reading
I’m wishing away the days that I’m wasting
A lasting impression of life I’m not tasting
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
