Post 284: Nothing to see here…
The Canary Islands
After the beautiful Lord Mayors show
I’ve begun to feel so very low
It’s not enough to tell doc
I really don’t need pills full stop
Off to where the sun shines hot
Using up the time we’ve got
Doing things we could but dream
The Canary Isles to bathe and steam
It’s not that long, the days pass by
To walk the plank, To sit, To fly
In Londons airport we will start
At eight o’clock we shall depart
We’ll leave behind the doctors call
We’ll leave behind my cancer shawl
To eat and drink till we are full
To dance and sing till bedtimes call
Making memories and taking selfies
The best time had with solar therapies
It will go well but have to come back
But going again will save our unpack

I felt like a walk yesterday but cascading rain set me back in my bed.
I hope tomorrow has a better forecast so I can work my fading muscles.
I have to be fitter for the trip to the Canary’s, so I can walk the beaches with my Darlings hand in mine.
Shoulder pain is all I’ve got, there’s no extra swigs of opium, sad I’m certainly not.
We need to sort a taxi for the flights the and back, and get all the suitcases for us to pack.
Other than that there’s nothing to report. Happy days.
Good night
