Post 263: Blue badge blues.

Is you’re clutch a little too tight

Or is it hard to find the flipin’ bite

Perhaps it’s now very old news

Or else you’ve got the blue badge blues

My poorly pelvis is now creaking more

Than the front of the open nearside door

I’ll give it a grease if it’s that you choose

Another line of the blue badge blues

I can barely swing my legs in the car

They’re rarely moving I need a pry-bar

But there’s nothing I can do to excuse

The reason for having the blue badge blues

I’ll park with the parents in the super co-op

A much shorter walk to do my big shop

By ‘order’ it’s a deal I shouldn’t overuse

And stop the singing of the blue badge blues

I went to the trouble, of rhyming for AW.

I’m trying to get over myself with my illness. It’s easy to get lazy and annoyed when it comes down to taking stock. It’s not a nice place to be in but here I am and here I stay.

I’m being positive today and firstly I’m getting a passport photo for a renewal and some kind of holiday away, my Darling deserves it. Maybe the island of Tenerife for a start. Nothing heavy just a place to getaway.

I wake and my right shoulders on fire. Last week when I was on maximum pain relief there was no reduction of pain on it, so there’s no point in dosing up as it doesn’t help so I’m still on no extra oramorph. 5 days now.

All is well, but then again I’ve done nothing and not stepped outside.

So we shall go into town after the form drop-off to the Hospice. Who knows I might be able to get the ESA form filled today.

We shall have a bite to eat in town, somewhere new maybe, maybe not?

I’m up for an adventure, even if it’s only a snack.

Good night
