I’ve had enough

Less than one minute read time.

It’s time to end this saga,

three hospitals. Multiple visits. Multiple bodies of people saying nothing.

a trial called TEMS (Star Trec)

this all started late last year, many hospital visits to set up this trial, and nothing.

someone has told me that these non existent trials are set up to save the hospitals money on drugs.

I'm now getting pain, so I think it’s time to end this waste of time trial and stop being a statistic, to see how long I can last without expensive treatments.

if you are offered…. say NO!

  • It's interesting that yuo've had, as far as I can see, no responses.  I completely empathise with your view.  I wasn't offered a 'trial', just regular palliative chemotherpay for bowel and liver cancer.  I reacted so badly that I was hospitalised for over two weeks after two sessions, and in a way that must have made it revolting for the nurses looking after me.  I was then offered a reduced dose to see if I still reacted badly.
