Day 10 Chemo Fed up being indoors

Less than one minute read time.

Everything seems to be going well i have had all the side effects but mildly, the thing thats bothering me is not sure how much out and about i should do, i havent been to my clubs and i am even wary of going to the supermarket ,i am referring to the low immunity that ocurrs, i wonder how the rest of you go on,i know some of you have to work even though you are having chemo,I feel my life is on hold and six months seems a long time to avoid the human race, i realise this is a small price to pay for a cure but maybe i can do more than i am at the moment i would be grateful for your comments!

    Hi Tiggy,

You are like me. in the last year I have been out of the house twice both times to go to the Hospital for my scans. But Im a bit of a loner and dont mind staying in the house. You look after yourself.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xx

    Hi Tiggy,

Ive just had chemo no 5, 1 more to go, then radio therapy and a year of Herceptin.

I have never stayed home when I've felt well. I would have gone crackers. I still go to the shops, and pop to work to meet the girls for lunch etc. As long as your feeling ok I'm sure its fine.

Speak to your doctor if your unsure.

    Take care

    Love Netty xx

    Hi Tiggy

I finished chemo in Sept, had rt and on my Herceptin for 6 more months.

If you feel well just get out there. I think  I would have felt isolated otherwise. Just exercise some care and caution and you will be OK. I still went shopping, visited people or whatever I wanted as long as it was good day.

    Wishing you well

    Love Max xx
