FANTASTIC NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!

1 minute read time.
Well yesterday I got my CT scan results which show all my Nodes have now shrunk back to normal size!!!!!!!! unfortunately I didnt get my Bone Marrow biopsy results as it had got lost and somehow never even reached the Lab!!! but my Haemo decided i didnt need to have another as my results in September shown my Bone Marrow to be clear, and shes happy with that....if shes happy then I am too...(saves me having another one ouch!!!!!) Up to now ive had 4 weekly infusions of Rituximab and 6 infusions every 2 months..so im 12 months on from starting the trial... My Haemotologist agrees its excellent news, but I will still have to have another 6 infusions which will finish in March 2010, The past 12 months have flew by,in fact I dont even know where theyve gone,on many occasions on my 'bad days' Ive asked myself 'is it all worth it'.....but at least I know it is now,so Im now looking forward to getting through the next 12 months with a 'positive mental attitude' I would like to thank all in chat for all the support ive been given over the past Months and of course all the Laughs....... Take Care Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am happy for you, too, Sue!  My son and I are just starting this journey into treatment and recovery but it's inspiring to read your news and to know that time flies even through this.  My son also has a long way to go and he had to stop his studies first but I tell him this will just be a wrinkle in time. The important thing is for him to get well first, his studies can wait.

Every little piece of good news is cause for celebration but yours calls for a MAJOR celebration.  Cheers!
