Hello Vinny.   I'm sorry that you have been through treatment for thyroid cancer but this is a marvellous community for help and support. As mine was a floor of mouth cancer, I can't really help much apart from saying that I was also extremely tired after my external radiotherapy sessions .... so I guess it's all down to the radiation.

There is a specific group here on the site for Thyroid Cancer where you can chat with others who are going / have been through the same as yourself, so if you join then you can post or join in on a discussion. I'll add the clickable link for you, take care and best wishes.

Hi Vinny, I had a total thyroidectomy June this year and then RAI last week and I too have come out totally shattered which I wasn't expecting. I rang the hospital and when I told them that I feel tired and especially pain in bones and joints they think could be calcium connected and I am going to have a bloodiest on Monday to flow that suggestion up. Just wondered if your problem could be like mine? My husband thinks the tiredness could also be linked to the stress and anxiety of the last couple of months and perhaps that could be it too. We mustn't forget that it is all exhausting what we have to go through. I hope you feel better soon and like me I would suggest you call hospital and ask for blood tests to make sure your calcium is correct level. I wish you well, Best regard, Ayesha
