What a superstar mum is!! She was at MRI this week to have the "staples" removed from the hip replacement wound...48 in total, did she flinch?? Did she heck!!
She's also been out for lunch this week, and to her favourite shop - John Lewis! Dad took her and they hired a wheelchair as walking is still difficult but she is improving every day. I thought she looked quite poorly last weekend but she has had a lot more colour this week!
She's also had her hair done...first time in 10 weeks!! What a boost that was.
As for me, well it is Dan's birthday this weekend so we are off to Lytham to see his parents and going out for a meal. Then on Sunday we go to the Lakes to do an extreme activity!! Google Ghyll Scrambling...excited! Then we are staying at a spa hotel overnight and having a massage. It is just what we need and then we will do a walk on Monday. I am worried about leaving mum but I am sure she will be ok. The break will definitely do our relationship good.
