Hubby Says: (Update)

1 minute read time.

 Hubby Wrote:

It seems like there are no more new tumours, everything outside the lungs is still OK, but the old ones are still growing. (Over 23 small mets in the lungs). The biggest one is 1 inch now. They are only growing slowly though and so far not blocking any airways or pressing on any blood vessels and so the Oncologist thinks that we’ll just keep doing what we’re doing now which, for him means keeping an eye on it and doing scans every 3 months.

My CEA count almost doubled in 3 months from 13 to 23.4 but high normal is 5 (smokers), normal is 1 to 3.

The last part was disappointing to hear, but the no new tumours, no liver or lymph node tumours and slow growth is encouraging.

Thanks for all your good wishes

Back to me now:

Hubby is still upbeat and positive. He had expected to feel poorly last fall, but here it is February, and he still feels well. We know that everything can change suddenly and we need to be diligent, but every extra day of feeling well is a bonus. He continues to take his Tibetan medicine. Next CT scan will be sometime in April.... and that's SPRING!!!

Love to all.
