Thanks Janique it is really hard. Dad is fighting so well but he just keeps getting beaten down. It is now in his thumb, elbow, shoulder, foot and left hand. He had an op on his spine in September and now he has been told it is in his back on the right side. He is taking Sutent but the side effects are quite rough and he sleeps a lot. They have now told him to double the dose. I feel so sorry for him and mum and she is reallt struggling too. Wish I had a magic wand to make it all better. Becky x x
Hello Annie & Colin thanks for you kind comments. It is very difficult at the moment seeing everything that dad is going through. He is so brave and is fighting so hard but seems to get constant knock backs. The roller coaster journey that is the big C hey. I wish I had a magic wand to make it better for him and to give him his life back. It is so hard to see the changes and the way life is slowly taken away. It is hard for mum and for dad, she is being so great and looking after him but you can see that she is suffering and finding it all hard. Sorry for ranting but this is my outlet. Becky x
