Definatley the right answer.  Live each day to the maximum, and achieve your list of 'to-do's' including proposing.  I think that is fantastic  - keep positive and keep laughing that is the best medicine.

Rob you MUST check with your oncologist before you take any herbs or alternative meds, cancer meds and and herbs/ alternative meds don't always go well together

Chris took Chinese herbs in a capsule form (he was 1/4 Chinese so thought they may work better) & apricot kernels, but we did check with our Dr that it was ok first. No idea if they worked but he did battle on & was very healthy for 18 months of the 2 years. Sorry meant to write thst he passed away in Nov 2010 not 2009'in my previous post. Anything's worth a shot (as long as Doc agrees). Good luck with the proposal!!
