The last few weeks have some what been the worst since diagnosis. I'm had increased pain in back and hips, and headache and dizziness that have been causing a nuisance. I visit my gp several times from the start when this occurred. Blood tests revealed a rise in PSA to 17 and I subsequently sent for X-rays and a head ct scan the following day. Head ct scan was clear but X-rays where inconclusive. Ive had a emergency meeting with my oncologist (last Wednesday). I am now waiting on a date for a PET scan. I am not very good at waiting. My anxiety levels are through the roof and the more you wait the more you worry. I have never been a patient man but when it comes to my health I need to know.
