Its 2.30 am Mo got up to go to the toilet, not a major problem pretty normal for ev1,get up,have a pee then back to bed,no probs except when you have a tumour. The simple task of going to the toilet sets you,the carer, on alert & immediately you wake up."What's he/she doing, where are you going?"you ask them but they don't even know themselves "Why!" they can't even give you an answer not even a straight one,its upsetting. Then if by any chance you don't hear or feel them getting up and you look in the bed next to you and see that its empty, blind panic sets in."What if they have fallen over or burnt themselves making a simple cup of tea. You automatically get up & dash into the kitchen or living room for a visual confirmation everythings ok and you find them just sitting on the sofa/chair you breathe a huge sigh of relief. Then you explain to them about "How dangerous their wandering could be,chastise them as you would a child or just get cross/angry...until the next time"
