Less than one minute read time.

Returned to Hurstwood Park today & got the results of brain biopsy,it wasn't good news at all. Mo has got a Grade iv astrocytic glioma (glioblastoma) a malignant aggressive cancerous brain tumour. Its inoperable and terminal,I hate that word!!
Radiotherapy is the only treatment available at present, every other day for two weeks hopefully it will control the growth and alleviate the symptoms, best possible scenario shrink the bastard (unlikely though!).Radiotherapy is being used to increase longevity and allow Mo to have a better quality of life.
We have to remain positive, not easy, and think weekly at present & then after, longer periods of time as docs can't give us a specific timeframe yet!

Hi Brian, I'm so sorry to hear of Mo's diagnosis and prognosis.

I hope the radiotherapy at least makes her feel better and, you never know, it may well shrink the tumour. Don't ever give up hope.

Will be thinking of you both.

    Best wishes, Christine xx
