Pamidronate (Aredria) Myeloma

Hi ...

My partner who has Multiple Myeloma has just had his first dose of Pamidronate, bone strengthening infusion and I was wondering if anyone has had these and if so...how you felt etc? Melvin (my partner) is feeling quite rough three days later....feverish and chills, nausea.

    Hi there, my mom also has multiple myeloma. She has completed 7 cycles of zoledronic acid. She reports feeling excessively drowsy and tired after the infusions. Palmidronate and Zoledronic acid are part of the same family of bisphosphonates. No reports of fever with chills or nausea with vomiting. Hope this helps. (20/09/2014)
